Ruth State Bank of Ruth, Michigan, has been successfully
serving the financial needs of its community since 1907.
Trustworthy customer service has been, and will always be,
our top priority. Our staff is highly trained and efficient.
Long teller lines or frustrating telephone transfers are not
experienced here.
Since its inception, Ruth State Bank has changed its
services and products to meet the needs of its customers but
hasn’t changed the simplicity of its basic banking products.
Our core financial products offer ease of use and are
competitively priced. Unneeded options that only increase
costs or decrease interest income to you are not acceptable.
Because we recognize that your time is important to you, our
“keep life simple” philosophy will help you get the answers
you need in the shortest possible time without the unwanted
frustrations.
We offer you an array of banking products and services and
promise to keep them simple and competitively priced. We
offer certificates of deposit, checking accounts, savings
accounts, VISA debit and ATM cards, safe deposit boxes, wire
transfer services and notary services. Our loan products can
be tailored to meet your cash flow requirements.
Our current family of 6 bank employees have over 125
years of service to the community. Let us make
your family part of our family.
Notice of Changes in Temporary FDIC
Insurance Coverage for Transaction Accounts
All funds in a
“noninterest-bearing transaction account” are
insured in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance
Corporation from December 31, 2010, through December
31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in
addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at
least $250,000 available to depositors under the
FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.
The term
“noninterest-bearing transaction account” includes a
traditional checking account or demand deposit
account on which the insured depository institution
pays no interest. It also includes Interest on
Lawyers Trust Accounts ("IOLTAs"). It does not include other
accounts, such as traditional checking or demand
deposit accounts that may earn interest, NOW
accounts, and money-market deposit accounts.
